Our monthly jazz jam session takes place the Third Tuesday of every month during the school year, at Sao Paulo’s Restaurante, just north of campus. Music starts at 7:30pm and goes till about 9:45pm.

We welcome jazz musicians (including singers!) of all ages and levels – we particularly invite UT, HT, and area high school students to join us, as our venue is an all-ages facility

More details for guest musicians:

• bring 3 copies of your music if it’s a non-standard key or tune) – 2 in C, 1 in Bb
• you are welcome to play from memory, but we also generally have copies of Real Books #1-3 in C and Bb and the Central Time Jazz book
• we have a house upright bass, piano, and drums available for sitting in, as well as a mic for vocalists and a stereo amp that guitarists can plug into
